Storm Summary and Projection:
Hurricane Summary POSTED: July 2, 2015 8:14 a.m. Remaining Quiet Across the Atlantic The Atlantic tropical basin will remain devoid of tropical development over the next several days. Although there are several waves crossing the basin right now, there is very little shower and thunderstorm development with most of these waves. This is due to an extensive area of dust and dry air across much of the basin as well as high wind shear. This rather tranquil pattern should continue over the next week or so. By the middle of the month, there are some signs and indications that tropical development may be possible across the western Gulf of Mexico. By AccuWeather.com Senior Meteorologist Dan Pydynowski
